The NanoBio research project with MSU will study the effectiveness of a vaccine the company developed with U-M to deal with felid herpes virus 1 – a vital respiratory pathogen in cats worldwide. The virus is responsible for more than half of diagnosed feline upper respiratory infections annually, and creates problems for animal shelters, cat owners and zoos.
