Feline HCM Book of Medicine Lists Reasons for Drugs and Which to Use for HCM

This is a book about Feline Medicine and if you start on page 130, you'll see information about HCM: when to start treatment-based on heart size, symptoms; medicines such as diuretics, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, etc. are necessary; that cats with constant onset of congestion or even "any patient found to have early evidence of congestion without symptoms" needs maintenance therapy of diuretics (which I'm always saying); necessity of potassium supplementation, etc. One caution-the book only gives HCM cats, once diagnosed or presenting with health issues, only 732 days to live, that only 33% are alive after five years, that cats with CHF live only 92 days, etc. That part you can ignore.
